Electronic Systems Specialist - 0912-1
This position will play a leading role in the definition and development of product and system requirements for "module-level" concepts and prototypes.
Responsibilities will include formulation and refinement of NTERA's NCD™ technology and managing collaborative development projects with ecosystem partners.
Specific activities include: developing electronic hardware and software platforms; designing, building, and testing prototypes; working with design and semiconductor partners; working with customers to define requirements for deliverables; working with the company's R&D engineers and project managers to ensure roadmap needs are met.
The successful candidate will have knowledge of a variety of microprocessors and real-time embedded systems. Previous experience with managing collaborative development projects in the electronics industry is essential. Experience with high volume manufacturing and the display or printed electronics industries, a big plus.
Successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or field related to the position, or equivalent training and experience, plus a minimum of 4 years related professional experience, preferably in high technology industries.
Some travel overseas, including travel between internal design centres, may be needed. This position is based in Dublin, Ireland. The position is a 7-month contract funded under the Marie-Curie Fellowship programme and will be subject to applicable programme conditions.
