Project Manager 0912.02

This position will support the Business Development and Marketing Manager in targeting and developing customer interest in one or more key target markets and defining product and system requirements for selected applications and will support the commercialization function from a technical perspective.

Responsibilities will include the management of relationships of collaborative development projects and deliverables of our ecosystem partners; formulation and refinement of NTERA's NCD™ technology; support of direct and indirect sales activities, as well as support of the development of marketing and positioning strategy and execution of the product-marketing plan.

Specific activities will include: developing platform architectures; designing, building and testing prototypes; working with design, semiconductor and software partners; working with customers to define requirements for deliverables; and working with the company's R&D engineers and project managers to ensure roadmap needs are met.

The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or field related to the position, or equivalent training and experience, plus a minimum of 4 years related professional experience, preferably in high technology industries.

Commercial project management; management of collaborative development projects in the electronics industry; expertise in managing customer deliverables and schedules; an ability to manage customer expectations; commercial international business; business development; customer prospecting and lead development; development of product messaging and positioning strategies; experience in developing technical marketing collateral and white papers are all essential skills and experience for this position.  Knowledge of a variety of microprocessors and real-time embedded systems also desirable.

Experience with high volume manufacturing and the display or printed electronics industries would be a plus. Experience of product line management and of multi-location, multi-suppliers scenarios would also be an advantage.

Some travel overseas, including travel between internal design centres, may be needed. This position is based in Dublin, Ireland and will be a contract position.
