Senior Formulations/Process Development Chemist :

    This position will play a leading role in the design of advanced display systems. This position will also assist the company in partnership development, IP generation, and product development efforts by providing technical direction in this area of engineering expertise.

    Responsibilities will include development of ink formulations for display applications, development of methods suitable for high resolution and high throughput printing, evaluating and specifying key functional performance parameters.

    Specific activities include: formulation of inks containing nano-structured electronic materials; design of complementary processes for system integration; design and development of robust printing processes and parameters; testing and documenting interaction with other inks and substrates; working alongside material production partners; working with customers to define requirements for deliverables; working with the company's R&D engineers and project managers to ensure roadmap needs are meet.

    The successful candidate will have strengths in ceramic and metal oxide powders and experience in formulation of powders, colloids and sol gels, with a sound working knowledge of polymer chemistry, preferably with experience working with a variety of substrates for the display or printing industries.

    Successful candidate should possess a PhD in physics/chemistry or equivalent and more than four years relevant experience.

    Some travel overseas, including travel between internal design centers, may be needed. This position is based in Dublin, Ireland. The position is for a contract of up to 24-months, funded under the Marie-Curie Fellowship programme and will be subject to applicable programme conditions.
